As the Pastor of Incarnation Catholic Church, I take very seriously the Catholic education offered to our families and the greater Tampa Bay community at our Parish School, Incarnation Catholic School (ICS). Pope John Paul II once remarked that the Catholic school is at the heart of the Catholic Church due to its role in imparting not only the Catholic faith but also a top-notched education that is intimately connected to this faith. I firmly believe that the Administration, Faculty and Staff of ICS do just that. They weave academics and spirituality into a unified approach which prepares our students for the rigors of high school, the world beyond and a life lived as a faith-filled Catholic.
As one of our largest and most important ministries, the work of Incarnation Catholic School is essential to the execution of our overall ministry as Incarnation Catholic Church. The Church takes an active role in not only subsidizing the school but also working with the Administration and teachers to ensure the spiritual growth of all of its students through:
- religious education classes taught every day,
- the Celebration of the Eucharist as a school community every Wednesday (and on Holy Days of obligation),
- the Celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation,
- and special prayer and worship services to coincide with the Liturgical seasons of Advent and Lent.
I invite you to worship with us at Mass on Saturdays, Sundays and even during the week. I also encourage you to consider the quality, Catholic education offered by our Parish School, ICS, as an educational option for your children.
May God bless you and your families.
