Hanley: Spirit to Serve
The Best Place for a Quality Catholic Education
Donna Hanley came to Tampa, Florida in 1977 looking for the best Catholic School for her six children. Her family arrived in Florida from Mobile, Alabama and knew a priest from Jesuit High School who directed them to Incarnation Catholic Parish and School. He said that Incarnation was the place to be for the best quality Catholic Education in the Tampa area.
Mrs. Hanley chooses Incarnation for its solid religious teachings, well balanced program and safe school campus. Incarnation was home to her family for many years and is still part of her daily life as school cafeteria employee and a long time parishioner of Incarnation. Mrs. Hanley feels that the school maintains a positive environment and is a second home to her family. Her most precious memories of the Incarnation Family are the Franciscan Sisters who were an important part of much of the history of Incarnation Catholic School. Her fondest memories are of Sister Julitta and Sister Mary Dennis who were a special part of her children’s school experiences
The Hanley children are very successful in many professions today. The oldest son David is a pharmacist, another son Paul is a physician, daughter Katie is a retired elementary school teacher, Ann is a Certified Public Accountant, John is a restaurant manager, and Susan currently attends the University of South Florida.
Incarnation Catholic School plays a role in today’s world by developing the student’s moral character and producing solid productive citizens according to Mrs. Hanley.
Donna Hanley is a vibrant part of the Incarnation Family today. She is present in the school cafeteria daily, an active member of Incarnation Catholic Parish and involved in the Incarnation Spring Carnival every year. Incarnation School is proud to have Mrs. Hanley as member of our past and present Incarnation community.
